I went on maternity leave six months ago now, and welcomed my little girl, Chloe, who is now five months old. I am absolutely loving being a mum - the cuddles, the smiles, the cuteness, it is all so rewarding and precious. One thing I didn't expect was how much time I would spend sitting on the couch breastfeeding. That's when I found my obsession for winning free stuff.
When Chloe was little she was breastfeeding six times a day for at least an hour, but thanks to my breastfeeding cushion, I was hands free. I was surfing the net out of boredom one day when I entered my first competition to win some free money. Sadly, I didn't win, but it got me thinking about all the other online competitions out there I could be entering.
At first, entering competitions was a bit of a hobby, but a couple months later and I am now addicted. Whenever Chloe is down for a nap, I scour the internet for whatever competitions I can find and I get entering. I have entered competitions in Melbourne, competitions in Perth and plenty of international competitions, and you guessed it, I have now won a fair few prizes along the way.
Some competitions are super easy to enter, like the Facebook ones where all you have to do is comment and tag a friend. Other competitions require a little bit more thought, for example "Tell us in 25 words or less." It was only the other week that I found my all-time favourite website for entering competitions.
